Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered physical therapy evaluation and treatment to restore mobility and function
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and measurable goals
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and rehabilitation staff to coordinate safe, effective care
• Document progress, interventions, and discharge planning timely and accurately
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises, safe mobility, and injury prevention
• Contribute to a positive, team-based culture focused on quality outcomes and patient satisfaction

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in California (required)
• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent clinical degree preferred
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
• Experience in post-acute, rehabilitation, or inpatient therapy settings is a strong plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in therapeutic exercise, manual techniques, gait training, and mobility assessment
• Comfortable with clinical documentation and electronic medical records
• Ability to prioritize caseloads and adapt to varied patient acuity
• Knowledge of safety principles for transfers and fall prevention
• Patient education and family-centered care practices
