Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality telemetry nursing care for geriatric and swing-bed patients, monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding promptly to changes
• Perform skilled wound care and advanced clinical procedures as needed to support patient recovery
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in Cerner
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Advocate for a concierge-level patient experience appropriate for an affluent community
• Maintain unit safety and adhere to hospital policies and infection control standards
• Mentor and support colleagues when appropriate to promote teamwork and excellent patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state licensure required)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (per posting)
• Experience in geriatric care or past inpatient rehab (swing bed) — must have
• Proven telemetry and Med/Surg experience
• Advanced wound care skills
• BLS required
• ACLS and CPI preferred
• Comfortable using Cerner for documentation

Knowledge & Skills

• Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• Med/Surg nursing best practices
• Wound assessment and management
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking
• Excellent communication and patient advocacy skills
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records
• Ability to deliver high-touch patient experience in a concierge-oriented setting
