Candidate Pay Rate: $43 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Observe and assess residents continuously and report clinically significant changes
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered and document accurately in the electronic MAR/TAR
- Supervise, mentor, and assign LNAs in accordance with state licensing rules
- Perform wound care (including wound vac familiarity) and manage gastrostomy/jejunostomy feedings
- Provide and monitor oxygen therapy per facility policy
- Complete admissions, discharges, transfers, and necessary documentation
- Coordinate care with physicians and accompany on rounds as needed
- Maintain infection control standards and ensure unit safety and cleanliness
- Communicate effectively with residents’ families and the interdisciplinary care team
- Complete 24-hour reports, track antibiotics/precautions, and escalate concerns to Nurse Manager or DON
Qualifications
- Active New Hampshire nursing license required (must be in-hand at time of submission)
- Compact license allowed but NH license must be active
- BLS (AHA) current and active at time of submission
- IV certification required (willing to obtain during onboarding if not already certified)
- COVID-19 vaccination required (no declinations/exemptions accepted; proof required)
- 3+ years current nursing experience (experience must include the last 6 months)
- Previous supervisory/leadership experience and two supervisory references from the last 2 years
- Must be willing to float to units where experienced
- Own transportation required due to rural location and limited public transit
Knowledge & Skills
- Resident assessment and clinical observation skills
- Medication administration and electronic MAR/TAR documentation
- Infection control practices and regulatory compliance
- Wound care techniques and familiarity with wound vac systems
- Care for residents with gastrostomy/jejunostomy feedings and oxygen therapy
- Supervisory skills for directing and evaluating LNAs
- Proficiency with electronic health record documentation
- Strong communication and family engagement skills
- Ability to manage admissions, discharges, and care coordination
