Roles & Responsibilities

Provide occupational therapy treatments per each resident's plan of care to support recovery and function
Support residents with activities of daily living and functional tasks to promote independence
Communicate resident progress and any concerns clearly to the supervising occupational therapist and care team

Qualifications

Active California COTA license (required)
Experience in a skilled nursing facility is a plus
Strong communication skills to report progress to supervising OT and collaborate with the care team
Ability to work full-time in a resident-focused setting

Knowledge & Skills

Foundational occupational therapy principles and geriatric care
Skilled support of activities of daily living (ADLs) and functional task training
Ability to follow and implement plans of care
Collaborative teamwork and clear clinical communication
