Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote dignity and comfort
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team to support excellent clinical care
Provide safe, respectful transfers and mobility assistance to reduce fall risk and maintain independence
Document care, observations, and resident needs clearly and timely in the medical record
Work collaboratively with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver personalized care plans
Support infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe environment for residents

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (Class: CNA) — required
Ability to work the assigned daytime shift (6:45 AM - 3:15 PM)
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
Comfortable with patient transfers and using safe patient handling techniques
Clear background check and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient-centered care and basic clinical skills
Good communication and teamwork in a fast-paced care setting
Familiarity with documentation and basic charting practices
Knowledge of infection control and resident safety principles
Compassionate bedside manner and ability to handle sensitive situations
