Roles & Responsibilities

Provide patient-centered physical therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
Deliver hands-on therapy and teach exercises to improve mobility, strength, and function
Document patient progress clearly and communicate updates to the care team
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to optimize patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on home programs and injury prevention
Participate in orientation and training to maintain high standards of care

Qualifications

Valid California Physical Therapist license (required)
Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
Previous experience in an outpatient or pediatric setting a plus, but enthusiasm and a patient-focused mindset are essential
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
Comfortable documenting in electronic medical records and following facility policies

Education

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred or equivalent degree in Physical Therapy

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and manual therapy skills
Knowledge of therapeutic exercise prescription and functional mobility training
Ability to create progressive, goal-oriented treatment plans
Good clinical reasoning and the ability to adapt treatments to individual patient needs
Compassionate patient education and motivational skills
