Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Part-time, 4-hour shifts (exact days and start/end times to be determined; orientation required)

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate pediatric patients and develop individualized treatment plans
Deliver hands-on therapy and therapeutic exercises to improve mobility and function
Document patient progress clearly and timely in the medical record
Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary team members for holistic care
Educate caregivers on home programs and safe mobility strategies
Participate in orientation and facility-specific trainings

Qualifications

Valid Physical Therapist license for California (required)
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent clinical degree preferred
BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
Experience working with pediatric populations preferred
Excellent communication skills and a patient- and family-centered approach
Ability to complete required onboarding and orientation

Education

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; relevant clinical experience considered

Knowledge & Skills

Pediatric assessment and treatment techniques
Therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and functional mobility training
Experience with documentation and electronic medical records
Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
Ability to collaborate across disciplines and engage families in care plans
