Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care that makes a measurable difference every day
- Perform thorough assessments and create clear, actionable care plans
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and improve outcomes
- Document patient care promptly and accurately in the medical record
- Educate patients and families to support recovery and promote health
- Respond quickly and professionally to urgent changes in patient condition
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania or compact license where applicable
- Minimum clinical experience as an RN preferred; new graduates may be considered depending on unit
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS) a plus depending on unit
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to pass facility onboarding and background checks
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient assessment and vital sign interpretation
- Medication administration and safe documentation practices
- IV therapy and basic wound care knowledge
- Electronic medical record usage and accurate charting
- Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
- Time management and prioritization in a busy clinical environment
