Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
- Perform routine clinical tasks such as vital signs, bathing, and feeding with professionalism
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and follow care plans
- Support a safe, clean, and respectful environment for patients and families
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver coordinated care
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (must be valid in California)
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or able to obtain promptly
- Comfortable working overnight shifts and providing hands-on patient care
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively on a team
- Previous experience as a CNA is a plus but dedicated, caring candidates are encouraged to apply
Education
- High school diploma or GED required; completion of an accredited CNA program
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and infection control
- Skill with taking and documenting vital signs accurately
- Ability to assist with mobility, transfers, and ADLs safely
- Familiarity with charting and following care plans
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
