Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform CT exams following radiologist protocols to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate CT equipment independently and safely for routine CT procedures
• Prepare patients for imaging, including venipuncture and contrast administration when required
• Process and post-produce images using MIP, MPR and 3D tools on the workstation
• Assist with image-guided procedures such as biopsies and drainages when needed
• Document procedures and patient information accurately in the EMR (Meditech)
• Maintain patient safety and infection control standards, including BLS procedures
• Collaborate with radiologists and the care team to support timely, effective patient care

Qualifications

• Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license required (travelers must obtain prior to start)
• ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years' experience in an acute hospital setting preferred
• Proven ability to function independently and follow radiologist protocols
• Proof of flu vaccination or facility-approved medical/religious exemption required prior to start

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on experience with CT scanning and routine CT protocols
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR for documentation
• Experience with Canon and Toshiba CT systems
• Proficiency with Vitrea workstation and post-processing (MIP, MPR, 3D)
• Skills in venipuncture and contrast administration
• Experience supporting vascular, cardiac, trauma, and stroke imaging
• Comfort assisting with image-guided biopsies and drainages
• Strong patient communication and clinical decision-making
