Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine diagnosis, prognosis, and individualized treatment plans
• Design and modify therapeutic interventions to restore function and improve daily living activities
• Perform dry needling and specialized pelvic lymphedema care with evidence-based techniques
• Maintain accurate, timely patient records including orders, progress notes, and discharge summaries
• Provide patient and community education to prevent injury and promote long-term wellness
• Collaborate with the Patient Care Team and referring providers to ensure coordinated care
• Contribute to clinic best practices and participate in ongoing clinical research and education

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of outpatient clinic experience
• Dry needling certification required
• Experience treating men’s/women’s pelvic lymphedema
• Active Colorado Physical Therapist license (or permit while awaiting licensure exam)
• Current CPR certification
• Graduated from an AMA-APTA approved school of physical therapy
• Member or eligible for membership in the American Physical Therapy Association

Education

• Graduated from an AMA-APTA approved school of physical therapy (DPT or equivalent)

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and differential diagnosis
• Therapeutic intervention design and modification
• Dry needling techniques and safety
• Management of pelvic lymphedema
• Accurate clinical documentation and progress tracking
• Patient education, consultation, and community outreach
• Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
• Familiarity with outpatient clinic workflows and electronic medical records
