Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to patients, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
• Assist with safe transfers, mobility and positioning to maintain patient dignity
• Support wound care and basic clinical tasks according to facility protocols
• Document patient care thoroughly and communicate effectively with the care team
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
• Build trusting relationships with patients and families through respectful care

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in California (required)
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
• Comfort with night shift work and assisting patients with mobility needs
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care and basic clinical skills
• Vital signs measurement and documentation
• Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Infection control and universal precautions
• Time management and prioritization in a busy clinical setting
