Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
• Perform routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs and documenting accurately
• Support safe patient transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
• Communicate changes in patient condition promptly to nursing staff
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
• Offer emotional support to patients and families with kindness and professionalism

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (California) — active/eligible to practice
• Comfortable and experienced with 12-hour overnight (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) shifts
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well on a multidisciplinary team
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow facility policies and procedures

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in basic patient care, ADLs, and bedside support
• Ability to accurately take and record vital signs and observe patient status
• Familiarity with infection control and patient safety best practices
• Good documentation habits and attention to detail
• Team player mindset with strong interpersonal skills
