Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to assigned patients
• Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate changes to the care team
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Document care clearly and timely in the electronic health record
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and discharge plans
• Support unit flow by accepting per-diem assignments and adapting quickly to site needs

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (California) or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Experience as a Registered Nurse; previous MST experience or relevant clinical background is a plus
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS) encouraged where relevant
• Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt to per-diem schedules and varied clinical environments

Education

• Nursing diploma, ADN, or BSN preferred (state RN licensure required)

• Patient assessment and monitoring

• Clinical documentation and EHR proficiency
• Infection control and patient safety standards
• Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
