Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shift (specific start/end times and days to be confirmed by facility)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
Assist patients with bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming with dignity
Take and record vital signs, observing and reporting changes promptly
Support safe patient transfers and mobility assistance
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate updates to the care team
Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care
Contribute to a positive resident experience by offering respectful, friendly support

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (required)
Active/correct state certification for Pennsylvania preferred
Recent experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar setting is a plus
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Strong communication and teamwork skills with a patient-centered attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on experience with ADLs and basic patient care
Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
Knowledge of infection control and standard precautions
Patient transfer and safe lifting techniques
Comfortable using electronic medical records or paper charting
Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
