Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding) with dignity and respect
• Take and record vital signs, and report any significant changes to the nursing team promptly
• Assist nursing staff with patient transfers, mobility, and safe positioning
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized patient environment adhering to infection control practices
• Document patient information accurately in charts or electronic records and communicate effectively with the care team
• Support patients and families with empathy, clear communication, and a positive attitude

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required (Georgia certification preferred)
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and any facility-required onboarding checks
• Comfortable with physical aspects of the role including lifting, bending, and assisting patients
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Current CNA certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and safety standards
• Familiarity with vital signs monitoring and documentation
• Understanding of infection control and hygiene practices
• Good interpersonal skills to engage patients and collaborate with clinical team
• Ability to follow care plans and faithfully carry out delegated tasks
