Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care with compassion and professionalism
Administer medications and treatments as ordered, following facility protocols
Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly to the care team
Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately
Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
Educate patients and families about procedures, medications, and care plans
Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges to ensure smooth transitions

Qualifications

Valid LPN license for Pennsylvania (active and unrestricted)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred but new grads may be considered
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (LPN/LVN diploma or certificate)

Knowledge & Skills

Practical knowledge of vital signs, medication administration, and wound care
Comfortable with electronic charting and documentation
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
Skilled at patient communication, empathy, and patient education
Basic understanding of infection control and safety procedures
