Roles & Responsibilities

Greet and check in patients with warmth and professionalism
Collect vital signs and document clinical information accurately
Prepare patients and assist providers with ambulatory procedures
Perform phlebotomy and basic laboratory specimen collection as needed
Administer medications and injections under provider direction when authorized
Maintain accurate electronic health record documentation and scheduling
Ensure exam rooms and equipment are clean, stocked, and ready for patients

Qualifications

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification preferred
Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
Experience in ambulatory care or outpatient clinic settings is a plus
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
Ability to perform phlebotomy and basic clinical procedures or willingness to train

Education

High school diploma or GED required; Medical Assistant diploma or certificate preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable using electronic health records and clinical documentation
Skill in taking vitals, performing basic clinical tests, and prepping patients
Familiarity with infection control and safety standards
Excellent interpersonal skills for working with patients and interdisciplinary teams
Organizational skills for managing schedules, supplies, and room turnover
