Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, individualized occupational therapy care for pediatric patients
• Evaluate developmental, functional and sensory needs and create meaningful treatment plans
• Use evidence-based interventions to help kids gain skills for daily life and play
• Collaborate closely with families and the interdisciplinary team to set goals and track progress
• Document assessments and progress thoroughly and timely in the charting system
• Participate in orientation and ongoing training to maintain high-quality care standards
• Support a safe, welcoming environment for children and their families

Qualifications

• Active California Occupational Therapist license (or eligible to obtain)
• NBCOT or equivalent certification preferred
• Pediatric experience preferred; new grads with pediatric interest welcome
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain during orientation
• Excellent communication skills with kids, families and clinical teams
• Ability to pass required background checks and credentialing

Education

• Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (OT) — entry-level clinical degrees accepted

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of pediatric development and therapeutic techniques
• Skilled in pediatric assessment tools and outcome measurement
• Experience with splinting, adaptive equipment and sensory strategies
• Comfortable working within an interdisciplinary rehabilitation environment
• Proficient documentation skills and familiarity with electronic medical records
