Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, focusing on dignity and comfort
Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility)
Take and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
Document resident interactions and care accurately and professionally
Support a safe, clean environment and adhere to infection-control protocols
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues to promote excellent care
Participate in care planning and team huddles to ensure coordinated resident care

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
Ability to perform physical tasks associated with resident care (lifting, transfers) safely
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow facility policies and protocols
Previous CNA experience preferred but enthusiastic new CNAs are encouraged to apply

Education

High school diploma or GED (preferred)
Completed CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Resident-centered care and ADL support
Basic vital signs and clinical observation
Documentation and charting best practices
Infection control and hygiene standards
Strong communication and teamwork in a clinical environment
Time management and prioritization during busy shifts
