Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, exact start/end times and specific days not provided (ICU 12-hour schedule)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, patient-centered critical care in the ICU
Monitor and assess complex patient conditions, intervene promptly
Administer medications, IVs, and advanced cardiac life support as needed
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary team members
Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately
Educate patients and families with compassion and clear communication
Participate in unit-based quality improvement and safety initiatives

Qualifications

Current RN license in the state of practice or compact RN license where applicable
Minimum ICU experience preferred; critical care background is a strong plus
BLS required, ACLS required or ability to obtain quickly
Strong assessment, IV and medication administration skills
Excellent communication, teamwork, and ability to remain calm under pressure

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Critical care assessment and monitoring
Ventilator management basics and collaboration with respiratory therapy
Cardiac rhythm recognition and ACLS protocols
Electronic health record documentation
Prioritization, triage, and time management in high-acuity settings
