Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living
• Assist patients with mobility, bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding with dignity and respect
• Monitor and document vital signs and resident condition accurately and promptly
• Communicate concerns and changes in resident condition to the nursing team in a timely manner
• Support care plans by carrying out assigned tasks and documenting interventions clearly
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control procedures consistently
• Build trusting relationships with residents and families through clear, kind communication
• Participate in ongoing training and team huddles to continuously improve resident care

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification valid in Pennsylvania (required)
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass required background checks and immunizations
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a compassionate bedside manner
• Reliable attendance and the ability to perform physical aspects of the role
• Previous CNA experience preferred but new CNAs who are eager to learn are welcome

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Current CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient care fundamentals and assistance with ADLs
• Vital sign measurement and accurate documentation
• Basic infection control practices and PPE use
• Ability to follow care plans and report changes to clinical staff
• Good time management and prioritization during busy shifts
• Respectful communication with residents, families, and the care team
