Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Provide compassionate, respectful care that preserves dignity and comfort
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
Support safe transfers and use of assistive devices following facility protocols
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate clearly during shift handoffs
Help create a positive environment by engaging residents in daily routines and activities

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (or eligible to obtain)
CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
Pass required background checks and health screenings
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a team-first mindset
Previous experience as a CNA preferred but enthusiastic newcomers are welcome

Education

High school diploma or GED
Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care and infection control practices
Ability to safely assist with transfers and mobility support
Comfortable with electronic or paper documentation systems
Strong observational skills to notice changes in resident condition
Good time management and ability to prioritize care tasks
Compassionate bedside manner and respect for resident privacy
