Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to residents at Andover Manor Rehab & Nursing
• Perform patient assessments, document findings, and update care plans promptly
• Administer medications and treatments accurately in accordance with facility policy
• Communicate clearly with interdisciplinary team members and families to coordinate care
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition, escalating concerns when needed
• Support restorative and rehabilitative interventions to promote resident independence
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the facility’s health records system

Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN license in Massachusetts (or compact RN where applicable)
• Active CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
• Demonstrated experience in long-term care, rehab, or skilled nursing preferred
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
• Ability to work independently on per diem night shifts and collaborate with the team

Education

• LPN: Vocational/Practical Nursing diploma or certificate
• RN: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in medication administration and basic nursing procedures
• Comfortable with resident assessments, wound care basics, and vital signs monitoring
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate documentation practices
• Good clinical judgment, time management, and prioritization under night-shift conditions
• Team-oriented attitude and a calm, professional bedside manner
