Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care to residents, promoting dignity and comfort
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Perform routine assessments and communicate changes in condition to the care team
• Assist with activities of daily living and ensure a safe, clean patient environment
• Support interdisciplinary team rounds and follow individualized care plans
• Deliver clear and respectful patient/family education about care and recovery
• Respond calmly and effectively to urgent situations, escalating when needed

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Massachusetts (or eligible to obtain one)
• Clinical experience in long-term care, rehab, or similar settings preferred
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or willingness to obtain
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background and health screenings
• Strong communication skills, reliability, and a team-first attitude

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
• For RNs: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (if applying as RN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid medication administration and documentation skills
• Comfortable with electronic medical records and charting
• Good clinical assessment and observation abilities
• Infection control, wound care basics, and safety-conscious practice
• Strong time management and ability to prioritize in a busy setting
• Collaborative approach to working with nurses, therapists, and support staff
