Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and on schedule
- Monitor patient status, document changes, and communicate with the care team
- Assist with daily living activities while promoting patient dignity
- Collaborate with nurses and therapists to implement care plans
- Support admissions, discharges, and transfers with professionalism
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Qualifications
- Valid LPN license in Massachusetts (required)
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Previous experience in long-term care, rehab, or skilled nursing preferred
- Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude
- Ability to pass facility background checks and health screenings
Education
- LPN certificate or diploma from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid clinical assessment and vital sign monitoring skills
- Medication administration and documentation proficiency
- Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
- Comfortable using electronic health records and charting
- Teamwork-oriented with good critical thinking and prioritization
- Ability to engage residents with empathy and respect
