Shift Type: Per diem / variable days, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM Night (overnight)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting with dignity and respect
- Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
- Monitor and document vital signs and resident condition, reporting changes promptly to nursing staff
- Provide compassionate bedside care and build trusting relationships with residents and families
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control procedures
- Communicate clearly and professionally with the care team to ensure coordinated care
- Contribute to care plans through accurate charting and observations
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
- Active New Mexico CNA listing or ability to obtain state listing
- BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass background check and meet facility health requirements (immunizations, TB test)
- Reliable, compassionate, and able to work overnight shifts
- Previous long-term care or rehab experience is a plus
Education
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Completed CNA training program and current certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of ADLs and basic patient care techniques
- Comfortable with safe resident transfers and mobility assistance
- Basic competency in taking and recording vital signs
- Good documentation and observational skills
- Infection control best practices and PPE use
- Effective communication and teamwork in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
