Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents of the skilled nursing facility
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on schedule
• Perform thorough assessments and report changes in condition to the care team
• Document care, interventions, and resident responses clearly and timely
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and support staff to create seamless care plans
• Assist residents with activities of daily living while promoting independence
• Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies to protect residents

Qualifications

• Active LPN license (LPN) — candidates with RN licensure are also encouraged to apply
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Comfortable working in a long-term care / skilled nursing environment
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Reliable, professional, and committed to high-quality resident care

Education

• Completion of an accredited LPN program (LPN)
• For RN candidates: ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and basic clinical assessment skills
• Familiarity with long-term care documentation and care planning
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy day shifts
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with residents and families
• Understanding of infection prevention and safety best practices
