Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, skilled nursing care to residents at Andover Manor Rehab & Nursing
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Monitor resident status and report changes to the care team promptly
- Assist with activities of daily living while promoting resident independence
- Document resident care clearly and timely in clinical records
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and family to create personalized care plans
- Support a positive, respectful environment that prioritizes dignity
Qualifications
- Active LPN license valid in Massachusetts (required)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification (or willing to obtain)
- Previous experience in long-term care or rehab settings preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with a resident-first attitude
- Ability to pass facility background and health screenings
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
- High school diploma or GED
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical knowledge of medication administration and wound care basics
- Familiarity with electronic charting and documentation best practices
- Ability to assess resident condition and escalate concerns appropriately
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, resident-focused environment
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
