Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care throughout the night
• Monitor residents’ conditions and promptly report changes to the care team
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document per facility policy
• Perform thorough assessments and maintain clear, timely charting
• Assist with activities of daily living and promote resident safety and dignity
• Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team to support care plans
• Support admissions, discharges, and overnight clinical needs during your shift

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license for Massachusetts (qualified Registered Nurses also encouraged to apply)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) training is recommended or facility-required
• Per diem availability for night shifts and the ability to respond to staffing needs
• Strong clinical judgment, reliable documentation skills, and a team-first attitude
• Previous experience in long-term care or rehab settings is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and safe documentation practices
• Resident assessment, vital sign monitoring, and early recognition of change in condition
• Familiarity with long-term care and rehabilitation routines and regulations
• Clear communication with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team
• Time management and prioritization during overnight shift responsibilities
