Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care during the night shift
- Perform routine assessments and document changes in condition accurately
- Administer medications and treatments safely according to orders
- Communicate clearly with interdisciplinary team members and families
- Support residents with activities of daily living and mobility assistance
- Maintain compliance with facility policies and state nursing standards
Qualifications
- Valid LPN or RN license in Massachusetts (active and in good standing)
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain promptly)
- Prior experience in long-term care, rehab, or skilled nursing preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and effective communication
- Ability to work independently on night shifts and collaborate with a team
Education
- LPN: Nursing diploma or practical nursing program graduate
- RN: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in medication administration and documentation
- Knowledge of common rehab and long-term care nursing practices
- Comfortable with electronic medical records and charting
- Strong infection control and safety practice awareness
- Good time management and prioritization during busy night shifts
