Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents at Andover Manor Rehab & Nursing
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document care in the medical record
• Monitor residents' conditions and report changes to the interdisciplinary team promptly
• Support activities of daily living and promote residents' independence and dignity
• Collaborate with nursing staff, therapists, and physicians to deliver coordinated care
• Participate in shift handoffs and maintain clear, professional communication with team members
• Follow facility policies and state regulations to ensure a safe, high-quality care environment

Qualifications

• Current, active LPN or RN licensure (eligible to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse)
• Experience in long-term care, rehab, or skilled nursing is a strong plus
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Reliable, compassionate, and patient-focused with strong communication skills
• Ability to meet facility onboarding requirements (background check, immunizations, etc.)

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN or RN nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in medication administration and basic nursing procedures
• Familiarity with wound care, ADL support, and post-acute rehab needs
• Proficient documentation and charting practices
• Strong clinical assessment and care-planning abilities
• Team-oriented with a collaborative approach to resident care
• Time management skills for 12-hour day shifts
