Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Day shift, with on-call coverage (schedule includes 8-10 call days per a 6-week period)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $83 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Scrub, monitor and document during cardiac cath and EP procedures including structural heart cases like TAVR and mitral clip
- Sedate and manage Phase 1 recovery — ensure patients are stable and documented post-procedure
- Assist with IABP and Impella insertions and other mechanical circulatory support devices
- Operate and document procedures in EPIC, MacLab and GE Imaging systems
- Circulate and prepare procedural rooms, ensuring all supplies and equipment are ready and sterile
- Collaborate with RNs, lead techs and physicians to deliver safe, efficient patient care
- Provide reliable on-call coverage and be prepared to extend past shift end to complete cases when needed
- Contribute to a one-team approach across Cath Lab and EP suites and support cross-coverage as required
Qualifications
- Required: RCIS, RT or RCES certification (techs) — must be able to submit required credentials
- Required: BLS and ACLS certification; ARRT where applicable
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab and/or EP procedural experience
- Experience with sedation and Phase 1 recovery; ICU or PACU experience is a strong plus
- Hands-on experience with structural heart procedures and vascular interventions (TAVR, mitral clip) preferred
- Comfortable with on-call responsibilities and flexible scheduling
- Team player with strong communication and documentation skills
Education
- BSN not required
- Required certifications (RCIS, RT or RCES) and relevant technical training or credentials
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient with EPIC charting and documentation
- Experience using MacLab and GE Imaging systems
- Skilled in scrubbing, monitoring and procedural documentation
- Knowledge of IABP and Impella device setup and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with TAVR, mitral clip and other structural heart procedures
- Ability to circulate, prep and provide Phase 1 recovery care
- Strong situational awareness in a fast-paced cath/EP environment
