Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents at Andover Manor Rehab & Nursing
• Administer medications and follow prescribed treatment plans accurately and safely
• Perform focused assessments and report changes in condition to the care team promptly
• Document resident care, interventions, and observations clearly in the medical record
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and facility staff to support rehabilitation goals
• Assist with activities of daily living while promoting resident dignity and independence
• Support admissions, discharges, and transitions to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license — active and in good standing
• Comfortable working 12-hour day shifts (8:00 AM - 8:00 PM) on a per diem basis
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain per facility requirements
• Strong communication skills and a team-player mindset
• Ability to pass facility onboarding requirements (background check, immunizations, etc.)

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program or equivalent clinical training

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in medication administration and basic nursing procedures
• Resident assessment and care planning awareness
• Accurate clinical documentation and charting
• Familiarity with long-term care and rehabilitation nursing principles
• Good time management, prioritization, and teamwork
• Compassionate resident-centered approach
