Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate bedside care to residents, ensuring dignity and respect
- Administer medications and treatments accurately according to orders
- Perform timely patient assessments and communicate changes to the care team
- Document care and observations clearly in the resident record
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
- Support residents and families through education and empathetic communication
Qualifications
- Active LPN or RN license (appropriate to the role) in Massachusetts
- Experience in post-acute, skilled nursing, or long-term care settings preferred
- Ability to work per diem shifts, including day coverage starting at 7:00 AM
- Current immunizations and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements
Education
- Graduate of an accredited LPN or RN program (as applicable to the role)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient assessment and bedside care skills
- Medication administration and documentation proficiency
- Comfortable with charting in electronic or paper-based systems
- Clear, compassionate communication with residents, families, and team members
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced skilled nursing environment
