Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents at Andover Manor Rehab & Nursing
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately during the 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM shift
• Perform timely assessments and document resident status clearly and professionally
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and update individualized care plans
• Support residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to ensure high-quality care
• Respond promptly to changes in condition and escalate concerns to clinical leadership

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license (title accepts LPN or RN clinicians)
• Active nursing license to practice in Massachusetts (required)
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Comfort working in a skilled nursing/rehabilitation setting and providing resident-centered care
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with nursing teams

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing or registered nursing program (as applicable to license)

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and medication administration skills
• Familiarity with rehabilitation and long-term care nursing principles
• Accurate documentation and charting practices
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills with residents and families
• Comfort using electronic medical records and basic clinical technology (preferred)
