Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and invasive CT examinations with precision and care, including ED trauma and stroke imaging
• Operate GE Optima, GE EVO, GE Revolution CT scanners and Medrad injectors to deliver high-quality images
• Collaborate with radiologists and the clinical team to prioritize urgent ED and stroke cases
• Provide compassionate patient care, including preparation, venipuncture when needed, and clear communication throughout the exam
• Accurately document procedures in Cerner RadNet and manage images in Philips PACS
• Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards to protect patients and staff
• Support unit flow during busy periods and assist with training or orienting other technologists as needed

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required
• Minimum 2+ years of CT technologist experience (CT imaging, diagnostic and invasive CT experience preferred)
• Experience with ED trauma and stroke imaging strongly preferred
• Comfortable with rotating shifts and weekend coverage
• Preferred: experience with GE CT systems, Medrad injectors, Cerner RadNet and Philips PACS
• Preferred: cardiac, pediatric, neuro, MSK and body imaging experience; venipuncture skills a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong expertise in CT imaging protocols and technique
• Familiarity with invasive CT procedures and contrast administration (Medrad injectors)
• Skilled in ED trauma and acute stroke imaging workflows
• Proficient using Cerner RadNet and Philips PACS for image management and documentation
• Ability to prioritize high-acuity patients and work calmly under pressure
• Excellent patient communication and teamwork skills
