Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs and resident status accurately
Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning while following safety protocols
Document resident care clearly and communicate changes to the nursing team
Help maintain a clean, safe, and dignified environment for every resident
Collaborate with colleagues and families to support individualized care plans

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (or eligible to be certified)
CPR/BLS certification required or willing to obtain
Comfortable with hands-on resident care and safe lifting/transfer techniques
Background check and health screenings as required by the facility
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an approved CNA training program and certification

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing procedures and infection control practices
Skill in accurate documentation and following care plans
Ability to recognize changes in resident condition and escalate appropriately
Good interpersonal skills for working with residents, families, and staff
Time management and the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy setting
