Candidate Pay Rate: $44 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality respiratory care and treatments tailored to each patient
Manage and troubleshoot respiratory equipment safely and effectively
Monitor patient respiratory status and adjust therapy per protocols
Collaborate closely with nurses, physicians and the care team to optimize outcomes
Clearly document assessments, treatments and patient responses in the chart
Educate patients and families about respiratory care and device usage
Participate in orientation and help maintain a smooth workflow for teammates

Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Therapist license (able to work in Missouri)
NBRC credentialing (CRT or RRT preferred)
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
Demonstrated clinical experience in respiratory care or related settings
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team

Education

Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent (required)
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Ventilator management and airway support techniques
Arterial blood gas interpretation and respiratory assessment
Proficient in routine respiratory therapies and aerosol treatments
Familiarity with EMR documentation and clinical workflows
Excellent patient education and interpersonal skills
Troubleshooting and maintenance of respiratory equipment
