Candidate Pay Rate: $52 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to Med/Surg pediatric patients
Perform thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
Administer medications and IV therapies safely and accurately
Monitor patient conditions, document changes, and communicate concerns to the care team
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate high-quality care
Participate in orientation and precepting to support new team members

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri or Compact RN eligible to practice in MO
BLS (Basic Life Support) required; PALS/ACLS preferred or willing to obtain
Prior experience in Medical-Surgical and Pediatrics is preferred
Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Clinical knowledge of Med/Surg and pediatric nursing principles
Proficiency with medication administration and IV/infusion therapy
Patient and family education techniques with a compassionate bedside manner
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) documentation
Ability to triage, prioritize, and escalate care when needed
