Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents with dignity and respect
Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
Support nursing staff with timely documentation and communication
Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
Build trusting relationships with residents and their families
Follow infection control and safety procedures consistently

Qualifications

Current CNA certification valid in Pennsylvania
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfortable assisting with activities of daily living and transfers
Strong communication and teamwork mindset
Prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred but not required

Education

CNA certification (required)
High school diploma or GED (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamental patient care and safety practices
Ability to measure and record vital signs accurately
Basic infection control and hygiene procedures
Clear verbal and written communication with residents and staff
Empathy, patience, and strong observational skills
Familiarity with basic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) documentation is a plus
