Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate Med/Surg and pediatric nursing care for assigned patients
Assess, monitor and document patient conditions accurately and promptly
Administer medications and treatments according to orders and facility policy
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate excellent care
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments and discharge plans
Support a safe, clean and patient-centered environment during every shift

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Missouri licensure required or ability to obtain)
Clinical experience in Med/Surgical nursing and pediatric patient care
Comfortable working in a team environment and supporting patient-centered care
Willingness to complete facility orientation as required

Education

Completion of an accredited nursing program and active RN licensure

Knowledge & Skills

Med/Surgical nursing fundamentals and pediatric care principles
Strong clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
Clear communication with patients, families and clinical team members
Basic charting and documentation best practices
