Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations with care and precision
Operate and troubleshoot radiology equipment while following safety protocols
Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control procedures
Document imaging procedures and maintain accurate patient records in PACS
Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and the care team
Participate in orientation and help onboard new or traveling staff as needed

Qualifications

Certified Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or state-equivalent certification
Active state radiologic technologist license (MO license where required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or required per facility policy
Proven ability to perform diagnostic radiography and follow radiation safety
Strong patient-care skills and professional communication
Willingness to complete facility orientation and comply with credentialing

Education

Associate degree in Radiologic Technology, Radiography diploma, or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Radiographic positioning and imaging techniques
Radiation safety and ALARA principles
Familiarity with PACS and digital imaging workflows
Patient assessment and immobilization techniques
Attention to detail for image quality and documentation
Team collaboration and clear clinical communication
