Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
- Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and patient observations accurately
- Support nursing staff with safe patient transfers and mobility assistance
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
- Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment that promotes dignity
- Follow infection control practices and facility protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Current LNA certification (Licensed Nursing Assistant) valid for NH/VT
- Local candidates only as noted in the job posting
- Comfortable working the day shift hours of 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Ability to pass background checks and any required health screenings
- Strong interpersonal skills and a team-first attitude
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; completion of an approved LNA program and current certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid understanding of basic nursing care and ADLs
- Accurate documentation and charting practices
- Effective communication with residents and clinical staff
- Basic infection control and safety procedures
- Time management and ability to prioritize patient needs
