Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care and support daily living activities
- Assist patients with hygiene, mobility, feeding, and comfort measures
- Monitor and record patient conditions including vital signs accurately
- Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
- Communicate clearly with nurses and interdisciplinary team members about patient needs
- Document care and observations promptly and accurately in patient records
- Support a positive patient experience through respectful, person-centered care
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
- Ability to work the scheduled night shifts (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM)
- Local candidates only (per facility request)
- Willingness to complete facility-required background checks and immunizations
Education
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient care fundamentals and hands-on CNA skills
- Comfortable taking and recording vital signs and patient observations
- Good communication and teamwork to coordinate with nursing staff
- Basic documentation and charting skills
- Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs during a busy shift
