Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to preserve dignity and independence
• Take and record vital signs and report changes in patient condition promptly
• Document care activities accurately and communicate effectively with nursing staff
• Support safe transfers and ambulation, using proper body mechanics and equipment
• Create positive interactions with residents and families that promote trust and comfort
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control and safety policies

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required
• Valid state CNA certification for Pennsylvania or ability to obtain state certification
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass background and health screenings as required by the facility
• Dependable, team-oriented attitude with strong communication and empathy

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on experience with patient hygiene, feeding, and toileting assistance
• Basic vital signs measurement and documentation skills
• Familiarity with infection control practices and safe patient handling
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team
• Good time management, attention to detail, and dependable charting habits
