Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living with dignity and compassion
- Provide attentive personal care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
- Support safe transfers and ambulation, using proper body mechanics and equipment
- Document resident interactions and care in the charting system clearly and timely
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team to promote excellent outcomes
- Follow infection control and safety protocols to keep residents and staff healthy
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential (VT/NH as applicable)
- Must have own transportation — local-only assignment requires reliable commute
- Ability to work the 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM shift as scheduled
- All RTO (time-off) requests must be approved prior to your first day
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on resident care and comfort measures
- Measuring and documenting vital signs and intake/output
- Clear, compassionate communication with residents and team members
- Basic infection control practices and safe patient handling
- Accurate charting and attention to detail
