Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, compassionate basic care to residents, ensuring safety and comfort
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Communicate effectively with nurses and interdisciplinary team members about resident needs
• Document care accurately and promptly in resident charts and handoffs
• Observe and report changes in resident condition, helping to maintain high quality standards
• Support a positive environment that promotes dignity, respect, and independence for residents

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential required
• Local candidates only — reliable transportation and ability to commute to Claremont, NH
• Basic CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Comfortable working day shifts with occasional weekends and holiday coverage
• Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient-centered care and safe transfer/ambulation techniques
• Able to perform personal care tasks with attention to dignity and infection control
• Basic charting and documentation skills
• Good observational skills to notice and report changes in resident status
• Friendly bedside manner and the ability to work collaboratively with clinical staff
