Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with daily living activities
• Monitor and document resident conditions and report changes to nursing staff
• Assist with safe transfers, mobility, grooming, bathing, and meal support
• Support a positive environment by communicating respectfully with residents and families
• Follow infection control practices and facility policies to keep everyone safe
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure individualized care plans are followed

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Eligible to work in Maine and able to meet facility onboarding requirements
• Available for a local 14-week assignment from 2026-04-01 to 2026-07-01
• Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a patient-focused attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of resident care best practices and safe patient handling
• Basic documentation and charting skills
• Infection prevention and control practices
• Ability to follow care plans and communicate clinical observations
• Teamwork, time management, and a calm bedside manner
