Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients during the night shift
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Monitor patient condition and promptly report changes to nursing staff
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients
• Support safe transfers and use of assistive devices when needed
• Document care accurately and communicate effectively with the care team

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
• Valid state certification or license as applicable
• Comfortable working the night shift and providing hands-on patient care
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong observational skills
• Ability to pass background and any required health screenings
• Previous healthcare or long-term care experience is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Completion of an approved CNA training program (required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and infection control
• Skillful in safe patient handling and mobility assistance
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and families
• Ability to document care clearly and follow care plans
• Team-oriented mindset and adaptability during busy shifts
• Time management skills to prioritize patient needs on nights
